How to Turn Twitter Spaces Into a Podcast!

. 5 min read

I’ve been actively hosting Twitter Spaces for a while now. It’s one of my favorite ways to connect with my audience—real conversations, people sharing their specializations, and ideas bouncing back and forth. Some of these Spaces end up being incredible discussions that deserve to live beyond the live broadcast.

But there was one problem: a lot of my followers told me they were missing my Spaces. Time zones, busy schedules, or simply forgetting to join meant they couldn’t tune in live.

And many of them asked me the same thing—Can we listen to your Spaces again later?

That got me thinking. Publishing my Space recordings as a podcast on platforms like Spotify or Apple Podcasts could be the perfect solution. It would not only give my audience a way to catch up, but it could also expand my reach and engagement to people who prefer podcasts over live streams.

I confirmed the idea with my followers—they loved it. But then came the big challenge: how to save my Twitter Spaces in high quality. That’s where Circleboom came in.

Circleboom developed one of the best in the class Twitter video and gif downloaders for all social media users. Use Twitter video downloader to save Twitter videos on your computer or mobile (iOS and Android) devices.

That’s how I turned my Spaces into podcast-ready audio.

How to Download Twitter Spaces with Circleboom (Step-by-Step)

Here’s exactly how I did it:

Step #1: Find and copy the link of the Twitter (X) Spaces that you want to download.

You should click on the "Share" button under the audio tweet and copy the link.

Then, copy the share link of this audio tweet.

Go to Circleboom's Twitter Spaces Downloader and paste it.

Step #2 On Circleboom's Twitter Spaces Downloader page, you will see a text bar.

Paste the link of audio tweet here as it is shown on the image below! Then, you should click on the "Download" button!

Step #3: You will see download options below the text bar. If the Space has versions of multiple qualities, all will be listed here.

In this example, there is only one option and I click on the "Right click to save" button next to it!

Now, the Twitter Spaces record is on your device!

Preparing Your Audio for Podcasts

Before uploading, I did a little cleanup:

➡️ Trimmed out the awkward silence at the beginning.

➡️ Normalized the audio so voices were clearer and consistent.

➡️ Exported it as an MP3 file (mono, 96–128 kbps) for smaller size but good quality.

If you want, you can use free editors like Audacity or GarageBand to do this.

How to Upload Your Twitter Spaces as a Podcast

Once I had the audio file ready, it was time to upload it to podcast platforms. Here’s the general process:

1. Pick a Podcast Host

  • You need a host to manage your episodes and generate an RSS feed. I tried Spotify for Podcasters, but other options like Buzzsprout, Podbean, or RSS.com also work.

2. Create Your Show

  • Add your show’s title, description, cover art (3000×3000 px), and category.

3. Upload Your Episode

  • Hit “New Episode” → upload your MP3.
  • Add the episode title, description, and any guest links.

4. Publish & Distribute

  • If you’re using Spotify for Podcasters, your show automatically appears on Spotify.
  • To get on Apple Podcasts, paste your RSS feed into Apple Podcasts Connect and submit it for approval.
  • You can also distribute to other platforms like Pocket Casts, Overcast, or Amazon Music.

Tips for Better Twitter Spaces and Podcasting

Turning your Spaces into podcasts is powerful—but doing it right makes a big difference.

Here are some tips I’ve learned along the way:

🎙️ For Hosting Better Spaces:

🟢 Plan a clear topic: Even if it’s a casual discussion, having a focus keeps listeners engaged.

🟢 Promote ahead of time: Tweet about your upcoming Space, pin it to your profile, and share the link.

🟢 Invite knowledgeable guests: The right speakers make your Space more valuable and podcast-worthy.

🟢 Engage your audience: Take listener questions and keep the conversation flowing.

🎧 For Repurposing as a Podcast:

🔵 Edit for clarity: Cut filler words, long pauses, or unrelated tangents.

🔵 Add a short intro/outro: A quick branded message or music helps your podcast feel professional.

🔵 Include timestamps in show notes: This lets listeners jump to the sections they care about.

🔵 Be consistent: Release episodes on a schedule (weekly, biweekly, etc.) so people know when to expect new content.

These small steps make both your live Spaces and your podcast episodes more polished and impactful.

Why This Workflow Works

Turning Twitter Spaces into podcasts changed the way I create content. Instead of one-time live events, I now have an evergreen library of episodes that people can revisit anytime.

💡
My audience grows because I’m on platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and my followers don’t feel like they’re missing out if they can’t join live.

Circleboom made the hardest part—saving the Space recordings—effortless. With just a link and a click, I could repurpose my Spaces into podcast episodes in minutes.

Final Thoughts

If you’re already hosting Twitter Spaces, don’t let those conversations disappear into the past. Download them, polish them up, and share them as podcasts. It’s one of the simplest ways to extend your reach, increase engagement, and give your audience more ways to connect with your content.

That’s exactly what I did: I downloaded my Spaces with Circleboom’s free Spaces downloader, uploaded them to Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and turned my live chats into an ongoing podcast series.
