A Twitter ID (also called an X user ID) is the unique numerical identifier that the platform assigns to every account. Unlike a username (the @handle), which can be changed by the user, the Twitter ID never changes and permanently identifies the account in the system. This makes it extremely useful for developers, analytics tools, and data tracking because it guarantees that the same account can always be recognized even if the username is updated. For example, the account with the username @elonmusk currently has a Twitter ID like 44196397. Even if the username changes in the future, that numerical ID will always refer to the same account in the Twitter database.
You can't find your Twitter ID on your profile. You can check your Twitter (X) ID here ⬇️
